More and more couples are wanting to include their gorgeous children in their wedding ceremony. There are endless ideas on how you can go about doing this. These are just a snippet which you may like to consider -
Ribbon Tying - Children choose a ribbon, can be colourful and physically tie mum and dad's hands together. They may choose a special colour that specifically means something to them
eg: orange for a fun and bright future together.
Sand Pouring - everyone in the family pours sand into a keep sake jar/vase to represent individuality and unity.
The sand can be coloured or simply picked straight from the beach where the ceremony is being held.
Candle lighting - Individual candles are lit followed by a main candle.
This candle can then be re-lit on special birthdays/anniversaries etc.
Exchanging of special gifts - rings, bracelets, bangles, chains can all be engraved and given to the children as a special keepsake to remember the day by. The same as rings are exchanged between the married couple.
Special wording can be said to accompany these ceremony ideas. I am more than happy to discuss this in more detail with you during our first meeting.
"Thank you so much Kate for the way you included the girls today. It was just so special that you stopped and acknowledged our girls when they were clinging onto your legs during the ceremony. You didn't just race on and dismiss them, you included them and it is just what we wanted our day to be like" - Phil (Groom)
"Thank you so much Kate, it was just perfect. You are exactly what we wanted, really relaxed and easy going. I'm going to recommend you to EVERYONE!" - Janine, November 2013.
